Hah I didn't bother with the celebrities, I'm not into that culture and with all the frenzy around them I figured I'd leave them alone. Spent the evening mostly talking with Jeff and a few other collectors who are totally awesome though 😀
I did take a few photos of all the goings-on, I'll put them into the Skipper thread sometime today. Bet Jeff will have an excellent recap of it too whenever he gets around to it!

·Who? Do they really think this will encourage people to rush out and buy a watch? It seems to be the least interesting bit of that picture, are the adverts different and more watch orientated?
I buy ‘stuff’ because I want/need to and adverts rarely lead to me one maker or another, she’d need to be in the AD’s window for me to be attracted.

·Had to Google her. She's another teen Olympian, like fellow ambassador Sky Brown. Competed at the Tokyo Olympics at age 14, now age 16.

·Better athletes (and especially Olympians, since endorsements are really their only source of income stemming from their athletic ability) than actors or even worse, models.

·I have a feeling that TAG could soon rope in Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as a new ambassador. He's been seen wearing quite a few TAGs already, and now with the Night Driver on his wrist on launch day, it just seems like a matter of time. Just reiterating what's already been predicted earlier (https://tagheuerforums.com/threads/films-tv-media-heuer-tag-heuer.111250/page-30#post-2146674),

·Dwayne Johnson does love his TAG Heuers, but he's also just a watch lover in general. He's got a crazy collection and wears many other brands just as often or perhaps more often than TAG. He seems to favor AP Royal Oak, Rolex, IWC, and Panerai. Even brands like Breitling & Oris.
So despite the continued TAG sightings, I have my doubts an ambassadorship is in the works.
