I have a couple of BellMatics. I am seeking a watchmaker that specializes in vintage Seiko or has serviced one for you.

US based location preferred.

This might be a long shot for your vintage needs, but have you asked one of the Seiko Service Centers? I have had multiple positive experiences dealing with the service center in NJ. Perhaps they can point you in the right direction...good luck!
Thanks!

I thought I had found an independent to repair my watches but he has some health issues and is not accepting repairs.

If the NJ center fixes my watches for the $145 estimate I'll consider it a REAL DEAL.

And my apologies to all that replied here. For some reason the forum never notified me of new replies and I had moved on.

For your future Bellmatic needs I’ve serviced a few and have spare movements/parts.

I confirm Seth is good. He worked on my King Seiko and he stand behind his work. I hope you can get him to work you in. Good luck. That is a very nice looking piece.
His website states that they are not taking any new work outside of pieces they sold.

Nice to know someone loves these watches. That one in the middle is a stunner. Have always loved but never bought one of these Bell-matic’s

Hey Pvt-Public,
That’s a nice stash! You wouldn’t happen to have a spare coffin link?

Stainless or 2 tone. Won't be back home until Wednesday. Let me know and I'll look then.

I understand this post is from several years ago, but I am also looking for a component person to service/adjust my Bellmatic within the US as requested by the original poster. Hands need alignment and the pusher isn’t crisp/snappy, but works. Everything else works great and keeps time accurately, especially for its age.

Appreciate any recommendations - like the original poster, the people I saw working on these on youtube don’t want to accept new repairs, so am having a hard time finding someone that actually knows what they’re doing. My local jeweler apparently had never heard of the Bellmatic, didn’t know how it worked, etc. And they wanted me to just leave it there for a few weeks/months…

Thank you kindly for reading this and for any recommendations.

Not sure why you are using YouTube recommendations instead of the people recommended in this thread.

In addition to my recommendation of Adrian Sellick above, Ashton Tracy is recommended.

Didn’t mean any offense…as the post was from a few years ago and most of the YouTube folks had currently stated they weren’t accepting new repairs, I was not certain if the folks recommended here also were not accepting any work right now. That’s all. I just wanted to get recommendations of folks that are accepting work at this time. I apologize for any transgressions.

No need to apologize and I doubt you offended anyone. All of the above recommendations are worth looking into and the only way to know if they are accepting work is to reach out to them 👍
