I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this and if it is can someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction.

I have this IWC vintage buckle. I’m pretty sure it’s 14mm or 15mm. Stainless steel and sharp. Any idea for what IWC models this buckle pairs with? Any idea what something like this is worth?

Vintage IWC buckles are really sought after. You would have to measure it to see the real value, If it is 16mm, I’d think $400ish

From the past. I have owned more than a few Ingenieurs, though I have a particular soft spot for the low-production non-date 866 versions. This is the fourth that I have owned. The others were sold because the profits were irresistible.

By the way guys, for some longer period of time I have big blue IWC box, I suppose its from 60s. Do any of you have an idea what was originally inside? Ingenieur? I’ve never seen similar one

I have the same box (minus the inlay). From what I could find out this was a box used during the 1960s for solid gold watches - one seller specified that it was for a solid gold Ingenieur, but it may have been used for other solid gold watches as well.

It's a really cool box that feels very solid. Now to find a proper inhabitant for it ...

Here’s my new arrival. Pre ingenieur IWC 648a jumbo size 36.5, needs cleaning glass polishing, generally in good condition. Very little signs of oxidation on dial, and one slightly corroded index at 9hour, by the way - do you know is it possible to polish single index? I mean to get rid of this kind of orange coverage on the small part of the index, should be 1 minute job especially that the polish already is glass

Another day, another IWC 😍😍😍😍😍😍

This thread just keeps getting better.

I'm a sucker for a double-signed Turler. What is that one?

It’s because it was Sold in Turler and produced for Turler, one of the oldest and most prestigious showrooms Swiss origin.

Sorry - I know that. I have a Turler Seamaster. I was asking about the model number and calibre. Should have expressed myself more clearly.
