Being it's from Australia I guess it's appropriate to show the underside of it. 馃槣

Oh HA! I was just at that seller's office (Harrington Antiques Woolloongabba) a week ago, bloke that runs it has a full page ad in the local newspapers each weekend with a photo of about 12 vintage watches, and a bounty price under each, for these he pays about $150. He's had some amazing pieces turn up from time to time, at one point there was a prototype bakelite bezel 6542 GMT-Master with a GMT hand I've only seen 2 or 3 watches in books ever have.

He's a good guy actually, sells a lot of antiques, and is still kicking himself for dumping scores of Rolex Milsubs for a couple thousand each in the 1990s.

Okay, I'm lost. How does a guy from NJ send a package to NY via Australia?

With the fights I've been having with the New England post office trying to get a package located out of Boston I wouldn't be surprised if things started going via the international space station.

Your package is awaiting customs clearance my experience is 3 to 14 days so it's way overdue.

Skip what I said about being overdue 3 to 14 days for Customs. I forgot that the rest of the world writes dates the opposite of what we do.

Yep 馃榾

To be honest, I've seen more delays due to USPS than Australian customs. AU customs and Quarantine are usually quite fast. I've had USPS "priority" service packages take ages to arrive, and then other times it's really fast. Very inconsistent (especially when they had those strikes or whatever else happening.)

It's not USPS, it's US Customs, if there's a holiday or during certain seasons ,3 days turns into 14.

Are outgoing shipments processed through US customs too?

Not that I know of. Just the inbound country checks them.

Probably depends whether the package is ticking... which in your case it might be depending on the power reserve 馃槈
