My first foray into a Seiko diver...Loving it!!!

Island bound in the next two weeks and the space watches were just not going to cut it with the water activities so I jumped into my first Seiko diver.

I'm really loving the fit and finish of this watch. Not everyones cup of tea, but subtle rose gold on the bezel edge and the sweep second hand really catches my eye.

After putting on 2lbs of bicep and forearm muscle wearing this on the bracelet I thought I’d try something to lighten it up.

Picked up this blue strap that really picks up the blue denim dial and I think compliments the rose gold nicely.

I’m sure it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s always fun to play around.

I wouldn't kick it off my wrist for eating crackers.

That Seiko does look good on blue.

Interesting how the gold accents almost disappear in that second photo, or maybe my color vision is getting unreliable?

I see that! This one is hard to get the light right for me. I can get the blue dial or the rose gold but not both at the same time yet.

I think this new blue rubber tropical strap may be the one for the islands next week.

to be honest my favorite watch strap combo.

Mine has matching blue stitching to the 009 blue.

it has aged to perfection and while a diver on leather is generally a no no. For some reason the SKX works.
