My CAW211B not firing up

Hi, Finally come back to my Monaco after a few years of not using and sitting in it's box. Noticed straight away no second hand action and still nothing after more movement. Tried a few turns of manual win but no luck. Is this visit to watchmaker for service as the oil might have dried up or something else ? It certainly used to be fine but I guess sitting around all that time has done it no good 馃様 Thanks

Wirth getting it looked at. Automatic/manual watches are actually better off to be kept away for a few years vs. quartz watches where the battery can leak.

The only advice I'll give it to try and reset the chronograph before starting a full wind (around 25 rounds)

I googled and tried
No joy when took out crown and pushed in both buttons no joy. Seems to me even though the watch is mint I have hardly used it so needs a look and service to get things moving!

Oils can dry up and essentially gum up the movement, especially if the movement has been previously over oiled. It's much less common with modern synthetic oils than older mineral oils though
Synthetics evaporate rather than thicken up.
It's a little suprising it won't run at all, more common to see poor running with low amplitude etc.
Trip to the watchmaker in order!
