Mission accomplished...

Hi all,

I had been hunting for quite some time for the early Omega chronometres with bumper movements and I am glad that I can tell that the mission is accomplished.
It was not a mission impossible but it took some time to find some acceptable examples of ref. 2515 to 2520

So references 2515 to 2520 are complete. I am aware that with 2518 and 2520 I am alread deep in the Seamaster territory. So I am not sure if I should continue and hunt for a 2521. IMO it would not hurt to add a specimen in good condition and with a reasonable price tag to close the series.

That’s a very nice lineup, are you thinking of a follow-up volume perhaps on Omega bumpers? Could be very interesting indeed

I think I leave this to our expert @MtV

Very nice collection @mac_omega .
I wonder why not hunt for 2521::psy::.
All of them are omega “larger size” chronometre (ref. 2657-2494-2521) with bumper movements (cal.354).

I have already a nice ref. 2494 and the 2521 is not so much different. But if I find a nice specimen like your´s I will gladly add it to my collection of bumpers.

Dear Erich, completing this set was a serious undertaking, that for sure took a very long time. Thanks for sharing and congratulations!

Congratulations Erich! A few years ago I didn't even know these pre-Constellations existed, and now I already have two 2517's and I would like to complete the collection with 2515 and 2516!
