If I were running the Russian Federal Space Agency, I'd concentrate my efforts on sending some shit to Mars in the path of Curiosity that would totally throw NASA for a loop, like half a dead sheep and a blow-up sex doll, to make them think Martians are both sick bastards, and distant relatives of the New Zealanders.

Because the next best thing to beating the Americans is confusing the shit out of them
