Longines Stainless Steel 6B/159

This one popped up on eBay recently which turned out to be poorly described. After a bit of research on MWR I was 90% sure this was a rarer stainless steel version of the 6B/159 issued watch. Was lucky to win the lot with the added bonus of a 10% off offer. Managed to get my watchmaker here in Perth to remove the case back which confirmed a case model number 21250 which is correct for this version so happy days. Unfortunately a few issues including sterile case back, replacement sweep second hand and crystal but still nice to have in the collection.

Nice watch. I am not sure that the sterile case-back is an issue. I have seen other examples with them. However, I do think that the crown should resemble the one shown by @cchen.
