·1970's model, as you surmised. the "20" refers to 20 microns of gold plating. The 508 movement is taken from a Record movement somewhat modified and rebadged as a Longines movement after Longines acquired Record.

·Only thing to add is the reference number - 8452 as shown on the inside of the caseback.

The watchmaker told me its 20 karats but I assume he did not gave a lot of thought on it.I want to buy this watch,he is telling me 1000 Euro.

It's not worth anywhere near that price. I'd find a new watchmaker.
