The main clue for me is that the dial appears too crisp and pristine in comparison with the rest of the watch's components.

The dimples rarely look quite right after refinishing this type of dial.

I agree with all of the "tells" mentioned above.

Not only are the numerals thick, the edges are not sharp. This is most easily noticeable on the 10 and 8.

Adding to the other comments here, there seems to be quite a gap between the outer printed track and bezel - much more than I’m used to seeing.

Thanks all for your comments. I decided not to go through and will look for another watch. No rush for me as I am learning about this stuff.
