What better excuse to bump this thread than this latest pick up... Universal Geneve Tri-Compax, aka “Evil Clapton”, circa 1967, reference 881101/02. Couldn’t be happier to have finally scored one, and the condition is 👍 . Apologies in advance to anyone who saw this earlier today on IG. Just can’t help myself, like a proud new father!

Amazing...beautiful watch and beautiful condition!!

A new one for this thread, previously unseen I believe. 881101/02, Evil Clapton Tri-Compax from 1967, with red day and month wheels. Just also posted in the UG OF THE DAY thread. Sorry...posterity and all!

It’s all about the angle... LOVE how the hands and numerals on this 22258 light up!

Couldn't agree more...almost like different watches...the blues and golds just pop.

Mine at sunset...

A funky one... it probably had a pretty unfriendly owner before me but am pretty happy with it as it is.

Market commands a higher price for 60s Tri Compax, but I sure love them from the 40s!!!

30/40/50's for me. Guess I need to post a family shot now! What set my heart racing were two 40/50's Tri's in a Paris shop. that has not changed.
