Hey guys,

I recently aquired this wrist-timer, made by Lemania. I have seen examples before and allways wanted one. So when this example in excelent shape appeared, usally the chrome plated case is heavily worn, I needed to get it.
What makes it interesting in my eyes, is the overstated movement: a Lemania 15CHT, or known as Omega 33.3 for most of the guys here. What still puzzles me is the history and the usecase of these watches/ timers.
So lets show my example first:

This is the variant with a scale, but there is also a variant with numbers and a 60second counter, instead of 30:

This is where it gets interesting, since there is an identical timer known, but with the Omega logo on the dial. Its shown in Knirims Book about military watches and Konrad relates it to the Artillery. Another source says, these were just prototypes, but not used by the military. Maybe someone knows more?

Additonal I found this shot about my timer in an old advertisement. Does someone has the ad without a watch on top on it? Thanks in advance.

Any more knowledge is appreciated and maybe this is interesting or new to some of you guys here, as it was to me some time ago.

Cheers Nico
