I just picked up this beautiful watch in an antique store for a pretty good price and works very well.I had the search the internet to find out how to set the time, which is very interesting. I'm not sure that the power reserve is functioning well because it really doesn't change, and the needle has been atvrhe same level the entire time I've been wearing it.But otherwise it keeps good time. Not sure how to open up the back.And with the crown being on the back, I'll probably take it to a professional.I'm just trying to see what year its from, I suspect from the nineteen fifties. Definitely redial. But I certainly can appreciate its beauty and futuristic style. Happy Sunday!

There's no way that watch left the factory with that printing on the dial. Looks like a sloppy redial.

Still a cool watch even with the re-dial. Now you have yourself a project. The search for an original dial. There are some out there.

Hey gator hope you are well..thinking of buying this dial to switch out and I think it's original, but i'm not fully sure.I was wondering your opinion if you don't mind take care artis

Dial looks original, but has some damage. Some of the damage will be hidden by the case. Do not attempt to clean it. You will only make it worse.

If the price is reasonable, it would improve the appearance a bit.

I didn't bother looking at the price, but the dial you pictured is nice and I would wear it proudly. I think it's beautiful.

Yes, now I gotta find a watchmaker who will switch the dial.I don't think it'll be that expensive. Emailed Pauls repair in California..raimond..he has a you tube channel and he quoted me $100 to change the dial or 350 to change the dial and do a full service. So I'm gonna consider it If I can't find Somebody locally thx for the comments!

I have this dial I found from in local watchmaker very inexpensive but as some very heavy patina, and I like the one on ebay better. This one is also a bit different from my dial.

I think that is an older redial also. It does not have “Swiss” at the bottom.
