Late '80s/early '90s Omega with red date hand? Help?

Several years ago a friend of mine bought an Omega that I really loved. It had a very dark blue face with small numbers representing the days of the month around the outside of the numbers. I'm fairly certain the date hand was a red arrow. I could be off about its date of manufacture. I remember almost everything except the most importan, what it was called. Can anyone help?

Its difficult to go off of the description you are providing. Did you happen to take any pictures of it or does your friend still have it. Providing us with some pictures would help tremendously toward identifying the watch.

Was it a Chronograph, like this Speedmaster Triple Calendar/ Pointer Date (1151)?
