My other half would love to add an auto to her growing collection, she likes chunky watches.

Currently her collection is an original F1 377.508, a Kirium WL1316 and a 1000 Professional 980.016.

What automatic models are/were available in a ladies (or small case) version, but which are "tool" watches? She doesn't like diamond encrusted lightweights. 😁

It seems she favors neo-vintage 90s pieces, so what about an Automatic 6000?

The WH52XX mid-size is about 34/35mm, considered ladies by todays standards.

That's certainly a possibility. Thanks!

She also lusts after things like Reversos and vintage Cartier Tanks occasionally, but they're even more pot luck.

The Lady Link was available in two sizes, one of which being 34.5 and also as an automatic.
