I was recently fortunate to get a Jaeger LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin. It measures 34mm and is, dare I say, ultra thin. I'm not accustom to such a small watch, but it is elegant and doesn't appear odd on my 7"+ wrist, in my opinion. I imagine a 34 mm watch isn't for everyone, but I am enjoying a little old school sophistication yet with a modern hand wound in house JLC movement. Happy Thanksgiving.

Very nice. Hopefully you can find a replacement second hand, but I hear they are quite rare. 馃槈

Watches with no second hand are the cure for accuranalcy.

I heard the second hand for this MUT is extinct. I will have to live without. 馃槑

Where did you send it? I had two JLCs serviced earlier this year via a US JLC Boutique. Not cheap, although mine were a bit more complicated (unless thin is a complication) but I was otherwise happy with the service.

The only point of contention was whether to have them polished. (This was their first service, despite having 15 years worth of scratches.) My vintage side won out and despite arguments from the charming and knowledgable girls at the boutique, I decided not to polish. They honored my request. In photos, the scratches show. In real life, I'm happy with the decision.

A local watchmaker at Northeastern Fine Jewelers has JLC training. I asked him not to polish my watch except with a cloth.

I am happy that my JLC Ultra Thin is back from a full service. I picked it up a few days ago and have enjoyed wearing it ever since. Here are a copy of cell phone shots. (Sorry for the poor quality.) These pictures do not do justice to the beauty of this watch. It's beautiful in my eyes.

Man, that looks a LOT like a Piguet caliber 21. There's just enough difference to make the argument that it's in-house JLC.

Actually,

It looks to be built from the ebauche caliber they produced and sold to Vacheron and Piguet in the 1950s-beyond.

(Vacheron 1003, Piguet 2003).

Yes, it is a relatively new movement. Still, it is my intuition that it is based on their 1950's ultra-thin caliber ebauche. Just a visual comparison is compelling enough,
