·I haven't seen too many recent threads about the IWC Ingenieur, so I wanted to share a recent arrival with you.
I have been hunting for an IWC Ingeniuer for quite some time, but hadn't been able to find one in the condition I wanted. Most of the ones sold online either had very degraded dials or polished cases. Some were missing original crowns and the important internal iron movement cap. The others that were in nice condition were all priced very high.
This one arrived yesterday and I am very happy. The sunburst dial has taken on a champagne patina that looks nice in the daylight. The case has not been polished and retains its original brushing on the sides. Importantly, the crown is original and the movement cap has not been lost.
These wear great at 36.5mm with thick case and strong lugs. The history behind them is also fantastic: https://monochrome-watches.com/watchtime-wedesnday-history-iwc-ingenieur/
Changed to a better strap today:
I know @Tony C. and @Bill Sohne have shared their Ingenieurs before, but it would be great to see some again!
