so, now I've decided to go for an Isofrane strap it looks like there is no distributor in the UK.

Anyone know where to get hold of them from a UK vendor ? Even eBay don't seem to have any...

Thanks

You tried ordering online from isofrane's website? Pretty sure they do international shipping

"All straps ship via Fedex to the USA, Canada and Europe (Phone # required). Rest of the World orders ship by Airmaill. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for delivery."

You're right, it was the complications with UK Customs & Excise I didn't want to get caught up in - usually it delays delivery by ages. But I checked this morning & Isofrane charge the VAT at the point of order - which I haven't seen before for US vendors - so it should be ok.

thanks

Damn customs. Moving from Canada to Australia was a refreshing change, because any purchase under $1000 is tax/duty free. 😀

Wow. It has to be under £15 to avoid VAT on import here. And then they can hit you with import duty on top of that if it is over £85 or thereabouts. It pretty much makes buying from most US sellers too involved for me to bother with any more.

It arrived yesterday, which is ridiculously fast. First impressions are that it is excellent, I can hardly tell I'm wearing a watch.

I will post a couple of pics of it on my Seamaster GMT when I figure put how to do it from my iPad !
