Is this Rolex oyster perpetual datejust real?

Hello’s everyone I received this watch as a gift from my grandfather. He told me that he had it for about 10 plus years. The watch fell so the minute and hour hand came off I didn’t get to ask him much more about the watch since he died 3 months later but if it’s real I plan on keeping it and passing it down.

It is not an authentic Rolex but a replica. And far from the best at that.
