·INCOMING !!....I've waited over 12months to type that.
Well I've finally, officially joined the old dudes in the Vintage Forum !.
Welcome my Omega Geneve.
Inside showing the cal 288, the serial number dating the watch to about 1954 and has the Dennison A.L.D initials. The caseback also carries the hallmarks for 9ct gold and the case reference of 739367.
9ct hallmark solid gold buckle.
It does feel small and delicate at only 34mm across the case, but then i'm so used to wearing 42mm Speedmasters and my 45mm heavy PO.
Nice Omega signed ivory white / silver outer cross hair dial.
