The spring bluefish run at the Jersey shore. They call these guys the piranhas of the sea and it鈥檚 no joke.

I look for it in every yard shot you post 馃槈
You know if I ever end up in Scotland I will drop over with some sandpaper and a tin of Danish oil and redial that bench....

That would not be a female cat by any chance? Looks like a back seat driver.

December 1964 Donald Deke Slayton, now senior manager of the astronaut office, photographed with children who had undergone heart surgery.
Slayton himself was grounded for medical reasons (heart rhythm disturbances) in March 1962. What a surprise for these kids !
This photo was printed in newspapers Tuesday 22 December 1964. (Photo: NASA/Chronicle)

Ok, I'll play...got lucky with this shot when taking an early morning walk on vacation in southern France. Loved how the sky and ocean just seem to blend seamlessly.
Beautiful picture.
I have a print of a water color that a friend who was working as a cook at a seafood restaurant was given when the place closed down years ago. Its a huge nicely framed print of two trawlers tied up side by side in exactly the same lighting conditions as your photo. The sea and sky blending in the mist. The reflections of the ships in the water is perfectly done.
I keep it mounted high on the wall of my PC room. Book shelf in the way prevents seeing the artist signature well enough to figure out who painted it.

A 2D projection of the E8 lattice - considered by some physicists to be a representation of an 8th dimensional geometric crystal structure which generates our perceived reality as a 3D projection, which we experience and possibly create though consciousness. In some models consciousness is the fundamental force which generates the lattice and therefore the Universe / our reality at a quantum gravity level (I shit you not :0)

Our "perceived reality" is a product of reality colliding with our expectations. No matter what you think is real in your mind you can still step off into a hole and break an ankle. Reality is where the rubber meets the road.
To a certain extent you can influence reality, by finding and filling in those potholes, but you are still subject to gravity.
