I have had this watch for some time but can't seem to find one like it or any information regarding it. Any help would be appreciated! The case is marked 14K GOLD D&A

It's definitely a refinished dial for one. I don't recognize that case either so I'd have to check my reference material. I'm wondering if you feel pronounced thuds when you move it around, as if a coin were bouncing off the case walls inside - it might be what we call a "bumper" inside.

No thuds or sounds. I'll remove the case and load pictures. Thanks!

Okay, it's a manual wind then. You can't always rely on the dial refinisher to put AUTOMATIC on there. Waiting for the pics - and if you can shoot the inside of the caseback it would help.

The watch looks early 1950's to me. I have the exact same hallmark on the back of a LeCoultre Patton:

The case was made in the USA and mated to a Swiss Omega movement. The only question I have is -- was it mated by Omega or someone else?

Take care,
