The blatant ones don't bother me all that much, its the ones that come on with a fake backstory, pretending that they're just another punter that was impressed by a product or company that really annoy the hell out of me, they call it astroturfing and its possibly the most dishonest of all forms of marketing.
I would get the Professional manual wind with the hesalite crystal. The earlier 321 movements will cost a bunch more because that's actually the "moon watch." I have a 145.022 from about 1980. Has the hesalite crystal, manual wind, 861 movement. Got a super deal on mine but I'd plan on spending between $1500-2000 for a nice one. A Lodge buddy has the reduced auto and it just doesn't do much for me.
