I need help with watch omega

Hi all

I need help with watch I found in garage during big clean up. Lost after my
grandfather death and discovered after long 20 years. Watch is not worn or
used since 1992 bud it tis in working order.
As you can see condition is not best and watch need restoration. Im not
expert and I dont know restoration cost and real value before and after and
Iam not shure witch model it is. Just thinking it could be chronograph 33,3
year of made cca 1939-1942.
Can you help me pleas?

That poor thing needs some help. I'll point Jesse / omega564 (one of our watchmaker members) to this thread and see what he says.

WOW ! Great story . It looks like a Lemania 13CH2P . Which has two pushers and a 30 minute register . The 33.3 is a one pusher chrono . I don't see a reference for an Omega version but it dosen't mean it exsist. Everything is there , it just needs some TLC . That surface rust is easy to remove . I wouldn't wind it or run the chronograph until it's been serviced .

I have come across your respectable name, several times in this forum and now, I am privileged to catch you.

Kindly advise, whether or not you may have a NOS or even, an aged used or unused factory-original dial, for an Omega Constellation model reference 168009 168017, with white gold hour markers and the Omega logo slim and tall (standard), and not the rounded and stumpy one. Those with factory-diamond indices will also be of interest to me, as long as the Omega logo, signature, star and date window-frame are all in white gold.

If you do or able to source one, kindly advise since I am interested in one.

That dial patina really looks nice and even, especially on stainless steel.

Indeed, it is a lovely old watch.

I would rather leave that beautiful though aged dial of yours, untouched. It give lots of character to that vintage piece.

Restoring the movement by a competent watchmaker, is a must.
