My girlfriend just obtained her MD PhD, and received this as a congratulations gift from her father. I have talked about this watch in another post but now it's in my apartment and I even get to wear it (when she's not home and doesn't know about it like now). The dial was replaced (by Universal Genève) in the 60s after a ski accident and I believe that the top pusher is not original. It's still a beautiful watch!

Marriage could make it worse- just think of what her dad will give her on her wedding day... or first child... this is getting worse as I think of all the milestones. Then again, marriage could get you into his will. Hmmmm😒

Yes, but re-word posts to state how much you admire his taste in watches. Then you may have a shot. I like the one I have seen so far... and the one you secretly wear is nice too, but you may need to come clean on that secret.

EDIT:

It is one thing to buy watches without telling your better half....but secretly wearing the others watch, I think this is wear we would all draw the line.
