I'm not too worried about the resale small-vs-large trend; I plan to keep it for awhile. Anyway, this is a relatively uncommon model, and the size is just right for me, esp. considering the tapered contour of the case/lugs.

If it works for you that's all that really matters mate. Personally I like it a lot.

Cheers, Al

And a much better shot at home, having just switched to a honey nubuck strap! This must be the softest one I've even worn.

Hi Adam. Great watch and strap. I am new in this world and was going to buy a 183 45mm but also found it to big. Love the Rad 42 mm. Impossible to find 338 in europe but have found a new 337 from panerei madrid and is will arive within 2 weeks. Love your strap. Where did you buy the strap and what size? Regards Jens

Jens, this is a nubuck alligator in 27/20 size. It should be 25/20, so it's rather too snugly fit. I got it at the boutique with the watch as an extra strap. However I recently ordered a 25/20 identical (but not O.E.M.) strap from peter.watchacc on TZ (I think he has these custom-made in Thailand). Panerai does not make the nubuck in this size. Will post new photos when it arrives.
