For some reason that JLC really doesn't strike me as an attractive watch either, that combination of sub seconds, dial furniture, lugs, and red everywhere makes it seem a bit awkward.

how about this vacheron then? i am thinking about buying a sort of "high end" vintage and just looking around. this one looks pretty good to me though.

Not worth $5,000+ in my opinion. Dial could be original, it's very clean. Too clean for a 60 year old watch, if you ask me.

Crown isn't signed and there is no movement picture.

I recommend moving on,
