I've been looking at these for a while too and saw this one on eBay a week or so ago. Initially I was attracted to it but the PVD coating turned me off. I'm not an expert but from the straw poll of two people who have both questioned the PVD I'd say it would have an impact on the value. It's still a lovely watch, I'd just prefer one with the original finish.

There is a seller on MWR (namib I think his username was) from Germany who had a bunch of these for sale, so you might want to check the PX over there and see if he is still selling them.
