Heuer 980.006 circuit card

I have an old Heuer 980.006. It has not functioned in a while, and I suspect something in the circuit card. It is the first dive watch I've owned and was gifted to me in the early 80's. I'd like to see if I can get it running again. It doesn't work with a fresh battery, but I noticed when I was manipulating the battery with my fat fingers the second hand started spinning at a high rate, hence I suspect the movement is okay, but something is afoul with the circuit card. Does anyone work on the circuit cards? Can a functioning circuit replacement be found or is there a compatible replacement from a Tag?
