Hi all,
Does anyone know where I can get a Heuer 1614 from?

Thanks

I don't know offhand, but be careful with these. A couple of years ago there were plenty of these watch cases, dials and hands being sold on eBay...some were the correct parts, others weren't. You see a lot of these with incorrect hands.

Hi D.C - please can you elaborate on what the correct and incorrect hands look like? Are they any other ways to spot the watches made from parts?

Also - what do you think is a fair price for a 1614, a 1611, or a 13-1?

I am trying to track one of two of these down!

Thanks

Here are the 1611 and the 13-1 from the 1979 Catalogue

...and here is the 1614 from Chuck Maddox's site

Those are the hands that we can say with 100% certainty are original...but there may be others. You see quite a lot of variation with hands- thicker, steel hands without the orange outline.

Most of the French made Heuers can be bought for less than US$1500

Thanks for this - it's extremely helpful. From the photos, it appears that the 1611 does not have orange hour and minute hands. Is that right? The only 1614 I have found for sale is priced way over US$1,500.

Do you have any ideas where I might be able to find one for more like US$1,500-2,000?

Thanks

Correct on the hands.

These come around on eBay with reasonable regularity- More than $2k is too much for these in my opinion....but if you find the right watch, then go for it!

I have that actual watch! I bought it from a guy who got it from Stewart. Lovely piece, easy to wear. White/blue appeared to be more trendy a few years ago, I love the fume.
