Help Please Identifying Sentimental S/el Watch

Guys - my wife got me my first Tag in 1999 and I managed to lose it somewhere along the way. I always wished to be able to find it but never have. Then it occurred to me that maybe I can by one to replace it. I remember it had the funny link bracelet, a black dial and it was a basic watch with date. S/El I think?

I managed to find a partial pic from our wedding album. I have attached.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me identify exactly what watch this is so I can go about finding one.

My best guess based on that grainy picture and the year is it's a TAG Heuer S/EL ref. WG1118.BA0423. If you can confirm that it used a battery, that would increase my certainty. Do you remember it well enough to know by these pictures?

There's also an older version from the early mid '90s that doesn't have the indented center circle in the dial. Same reference number.
