Help me!

OK, so I've wanted a nice, classic, vintage Omega Seamaster for quite a while. So when the oppurtinty arose, I bought one on an internet auction here in Sweden.

I just picked it up and to be honest I'm not sure if I've been ripped off or what.

The watch keeps stopping now and then, but continues to tick when I shake it a little. When I remove it from my wrist and lay it on the table it seems to be ticking like it should.

Please help me to evaluate whether I should return it or keep it...

See pictures below.

It's certainly an original dial (meaning the paint and ink has not been refinished). The crown is a replacement. We'd have to see the inside of the case back and movement to tell you any more. How much did you pay?

I bet for Cal 267...😉
But something strange in my eyes, I don't think The hands (hour & Minute) fit for it
My guess, the hands belong to Constellation Cal 504..CMIIW

At 1225 Swedish Crowns (about 112 £/182 $) I condsider it a bargain. Shame that it's not working properly though. But judging by the pictures you'd say it's an original and not a knockoff?

As I am by no means a wealthy man I'm still not sure whether to service it or to return it/sell it and buy a recently serviced one instead...

How much do you think an extensive service might cost? I've heard it can be quite expensive...

Thanks for your answers!

At that price, and in that condition, it is a keeper and well worth the cost of servicing.
