I thought I should introduce myself. . I have had an Omega since 2006 - Speedmaster Date, silver dial although it came with the steel bracelet, I have always worn it on leather straps.
It was a big purchase for me but I now find myself hankering after something different. . . A Speedmaster Professional hesalite!
I will need to sell the Date to fund the purchase so I find myself reading over very similar threads of ‘should I buy a speedy’ and ‘hesalite or sapphire’ and looking at UK pricing of pre-owned vs discounts on new.
