Vintage GS 6146-8000 day date complication runs well keeping good time. Noticed date turns over at 10:20 pm and day turns over at 11:30 pm. They both turn over consistently and completely, but it just happens a bit early. Is this adjustable? Not sure it’s worth service just for this but wondering.

The hands could be removed and reinstalled in time with the changes. I'm not sure how the day complication complicates this or if the relationship between the day and date can be affected. I don't think it's worth a service just for this.

Adjustment so the DATE changes at midnight is possible by advancing the hands until the DATE changes. STOP! Remove the three hands and put the hour hand on, pointing at the 12, then putting the minute hand on, also pointing at the 12. Nothing can be done about adjusting the DAY so it advances also at midnight. That has to do with the way the mechanism is designed.

Thank you! I think I will just enjoy this little vintage quirk for now and reset the hands at service at later date.
