OUCH, Half of the Omegas on Ebay are Franken, Pooched, bad redials etc.. What is a NooB to do?? If I find one that is good at a good price you all will outbid me LOL... Still thinking a Connie (good with that) with a 500 series calibre might be what I'll be looking for, along with how many others...........

Absolutely not. Goes against our personal codes here. Unless one of us was already looking at purchasing before you found it, it is yours to refuse first. 馃憤

Just feeling a bit Froggy tonight, looked at the black dialed one that was called FAKE, did not look right to me either, but not sure why.. Lots to learn yet. When I was 17 seemed to have the right choices in watches, now not so sure. Sure is wide range of prices, many at the $2-$4 hundred range, few bidders ALERT!! Then others that are starting at $1K buy it now. Looks like the middle ground is the sweet spot, but not that many of them around.

Or you could put the money towards buying another Triumph instead, like a nice pre-unit Bonneville or a funky T160 馃榿

After I sold the Ducati ST I've slowed down a bit, still have a BMW that I ride a couple of times a week. In the past I have had a few pre-units, 57 Thunderbird and a '62 Bonnie, also had a '74 Trident, Even here in SoCal the T160 are few on the ground. If I were to go pre-unit again it would be another Commando, just something about a Norton. My Grail bike would be a Velocette Clubman. Had A Goldstar, and G80S Matchless, but a Velocette...

... just something about a Norton.

Isn't there just ! It would be lovely to have a 74 Commando in the garage - although come to think of it, I wouldn't mind having enough spare money just to be able to think about it seriously....

They are getting a bit pricey.. Last one I had a '71 Combat engine Comando I sold for $3500.00 and it was not perfect, basket cases are now that price. Had that one and '70 over the years. The '64 T120C I will keep for a while perhaps give to my son. Like the '62 Bonnie a nut and bolt restroration, to the point of being anal. Even have the rubber cover for the fork lock.. Ace classics in London, took the tube then a cab, wife thought I was crazy, but then again I might just be.
