Yes but I guess it depends on what you mean.

I believe that Lange has upgrade parts of a watch during service (say non AR to AR crystals, maybe the shade of blue on a moonphase, parts of a movement)

but I haven't heard of Lange completely swapping out an older style movement for a newer style movement

That’s what i meant. Will i get the updated (instantaneous date change and day/night indicator) when i have it serviced? Assuming the updated movement is available by then.

I wouldn’t think so

a movement stays with a case

but of course you can check with Lange by emailing them and also your AD

I really don’t think so

Very different watches, one is sports watch and one is more of a dress watch.
All depends on how you dress, what you do etc.
