Hi

Now Traded off Forum to a NYC Collector my truly outstanding 1959 2913-3 ' Broad Arrow ' sm300 complete with Full Omega UK Service & 1yr Guarantee (Swiss Time Services) plus Extract of Archives confirming all matching details and delivered to USA in '59.

Beautifully aged matching original Radium dial & handset and near perfect 16mill Cal.500 (pictures available on request).

Case has good strong edges & sharp profiles. Caseback is also excellent with clear logo & wording. Inner caseback is stamped 2913-3.

Original ' Countdown ' insert , original Crystal , original ' mercedes ' logo crown , full length 7077 BCT stamped 4/59 & 19mm #6 end pieces plus original correct Box & insert.

I have now also found the vintage Omega 3/4 Sharkskin strap to go with the Watch which comes complete with the original period SS Omega Buckle & pin too !

Try & find another in this combination & condition !

Both myself & Watch are located in the UK - plenty of references available.

Delivery Terms to be agreed.

Interested in a suitable all matching (perhaps ' Tropical ' dial) straight lug Speedmaster (original alpha hands model & lightly faded bezel insert) or genuine original Vintage ' Racing ' dial Moonwatch....perhaps someone has a ' Project ' 2915 ? 馃槈

Any queries or comments via PM please -

Best - Neil

Why don't you just break down and sell it to one of us!? It will go in a heartbeat, and you'll be able to go out and buy somethin' pretty darn cool with the proceeds...

This watch is breaking my heart. I need to avoid this thread.

I offered to buy it outright the day it was posted, he wasn't interested. He's focused on trading for something very special it seems.

Hi Gents

Thanks for the kind comments....

My choice of trade is proving somewhat harder to locate than I thought....so I have added a little (superfluous) something to the deal 馃榾

Of course , I have received many requests to sell outright....and I am happy to continue to entertain offers (to allow me to pursue an early 2998) , however please bear in mind that the value will be in the region of my proposed trade.

I truly believe this is the best 2913 for sale anywhere worldwide at the moment....show me another one !

Best - Neil

I really can't blame him. He may get a 12 cylinder Ferrari if he holds out long enough..

Ahh! I hadn't made the connection between the watch and the photo of the automobile from the periodical upon which it rested! Subliminal trickery!
Hell, with a watch like that, I doubt I would have noticed the magazine beneath it if it featured a photo of a scantily clad Scarlett Johannson...

I'm gonna talk for everyone right now-we've been collectively tortured by this picture for weeks now. We demand to see what was worth trading it for!!
