Hi Guys,
Whats the going rate nowadays for a good condition original Kakume? I see a lot of examples with non original parts and I haven't been keeping track of prices. Ive seen some lovely examples being offered for up to $1500 sometimes but wether they sell for that is another matter. Are their prices increasing?

Prices shot up about 6 months ago and now depending on originality, colour, and original bracelet $1200-$1800 +-

Wow I never expected them to be that much. I was expecting $1000 at most. So champagne dial is more desirable? That never used to be the case but I guess they are less common. I was actually asking because i was going to get rid of mine and didnt know how to price it.

I think finding a great condition champagne dial is harder as the orange details tend to fade, maybe that has bearing on price. I’m also surprised by that valuation though, I paid considerably less for my original JDM blue dial last year.

I have been paying attention to prices recently, and I think your expectations are actually reasonable. While I have seen many listings at the prices mentioned above by a previous poster, I think they are ambitious, and I haven't typically seen sales in that neighborhood. Unless yours is a really exceptional example.

$1,000 - $1,250 if it's a perfect example and fully original and you find the right buyer, but realistically closer to $500-$750 for sane parties. You could prob achieve the higher prices on IG with good photos & exposure.
