G.T. Pocket Watch identification

Hello there, any info about this pocket watch would be greatly appreciated. All I know it is 18k gold watch and says Patent and GT on the movement. Any idea about the brand please? Many thanks 馃槑

The GT possibly indicates a watch made by Fabriques d'HorlogerieThommen SA / Revue SA / Revue-Thommen SA according to the Mikrolisk database.

Swiss Helvetia hallmark for 18K gold and an 18K makers stamp.

Unlike Omega/Breguet/Longines etc the original company no longer exists and therefore records are unlikely.

In his reference Clock & Watch Trademark Index, K. Kochmann confirms that the trade mark on the movement belongs to Gedeon Thommen, and/or Alphonse Thommen. The trade mark changed over the years, but the trade mark on the subject watch movement appears to be from a period from 1880 to 1893, located in Waldenburg, Switzerland. Thommen morphed in Revue circa the 1930s. There is more information about the firm than there is room for, here.
