French 844 Crown Question

New to this forum and hoping to get clarification.
Did the first 2 French variants of the 844 Monnin built watches come with a signed crown? It seems to be a 50/50 split amongst the people I've asked.

Just to follow up. As much as the signed crown would've been a nice touch, I've deemed it to be wrong for several reasons. First is the helpful people that service these vintage Heuer's.
Personally, these watches were not technically Heuer's for the first two versions of the 844. After that, Heuer tooled up for production and at that point production included a signed crown, especially with the quartz model.
I look forward to getting this watch sealed up again. Parts are on the way.,!
