I´m sorry to say - but the bezel should be a DON and not DNN.

It is a beautiful watch with a great history, but not the first watch in space. The first watch in orbit was worn by Yuri Gagarin, but there is some debate about the model. It was most likely a Sturmanskie. The first watch in open space was a Poljot Strela.

Looks nice. The bezel and pushers are no big deal unless you are concerned about the £££ value. I assume that as you have had it for 15 years the price you paid was one that makes you happy in any case. Get it served and post some, more pictures and enjoy!!!!

I've read that it stopped working in-flight, possibly due to the vibration.

Leonov wore his white dial Strela "Arrow" chronographs underneath the Berkut spacesuit…
All 10 spacewalks of the Gemini program exposed the Swissmade Omega Speedmaster to outer space, for both the Spacewalker as for the astronaut who stayed in the open capsule exposed to outer space…
By 1969 the Russian Berkut spacesuit was replaced by the Yastreb spacesuit, first used during the Soyuz 4 & 5 docking & EVA

Yes, it's true. Sturmanskie (Штурманские) is the first watch in space.

The one who made this list did not know everything.
There is no Leonov on your list. Leonov is the first person to go into outer space. What about Strela (Стрела)?

@-Alex-
Welcome to the forum...
On Voskhod 2 in March 1965, both cosmonauts Alexei Leonov and Pavel Belyayev wore a white dial 33 mm Strela chronograph underneath their Berkut spacesuit... so the Strela ws never exposed to outer space... although one might have been worn on the Soyuz-5 to Soyuz-4 EVA by cosmonaut Yevgeni Khrunov in January 1969.
