Is this really a promotion though? I can't imagine Loro Piana being much larger than the combined sales of LVMH's watch division.

Obviously, Frederic is being groomed by rotating through various leadership roles within the LVMH empire. Don't follow the Arnault siblings to know whom might be best suited to take over from their father one day. But it seems Frederic might be a candidate.

Certainly a candidate. The siblings have to prove who will most successful to be head of the company when the time comes. Still early days, but Frédéric is certainly off to a huge start.

Gerhard Berger continued to wear TAG Heuer after leaving McLaren. Some pics of him from the mid-90s with Ferrari and Benetton wearing his S/EL chrono, 6000 WH1151 and a solid gold 6000.Chronometer.

This is from a recent TAG Heuer post on Instagram, highlighting some of the legendary F1 drivers who have been associated with the brand. Except, I think they got the last picture wrong, I don't believe the man sitting in the car is Clay Regazzoni!!? ::facepalm1::

While the car and helmet belong to Clay, the guy looks a little different. He's wearing a Ferrari crew member's shirt. So, I think he's a crew member who resembles Regazzoni, but it's a case of mistaken identity.

This is the real Clay Regazzoni next to his Ferrari 312T (same car pictured above).

Another picture of Clay from his BRM years, just prior to rejoining Ferrari with Lauda.

The guy in the yellow Ferrari shirt has slightly different facial features, his mustache is different, and his hair is thicker & not receding as much compared to the real Regazzoni.

I don't know who does these posts for TAG Heuer, but I keep spotting mistakes.

The 1987 Monaco Grand Prix was not rain soaked; it was dry! Perhaps TAG Heuer is getting confused with Ayrton's first Monaco podium in 1984 (where he almost won) or his first F1 win at Estoril in 1985, both of which were drenched with rain? 🤦

Not a fan of the watch but that box is sweet af
Regardless of the base model its based off (I also wish it was a more substantial model), once it's engraved for the race winner, it becomes tremendously valuable.

It had to be an Indy 500 Special Edition 😉
I remember Alex also got a TAG Heuer for winning the 2023 Indycar championship season. I assume he also got TAGs when winning the 2021 and '24 championships as well. He must have quite the collection!
