路So, I have often thought about this because there have been so many famous historical periods for horology over the last hundred or more years.
If you could spend a weekend (or long weekend) at any significant point in the history of watchmaking when would it be?
I will go first. For me, since I love the ocean, it would be during the golden age of SCUBA diving. There were many exciting dive watch's back then that we only dream of owning now. You might say buyers back then had no idea how highly valuable some of them would go on to be. Plus, using a dive watch then meant you relied on it more, I would assume. Some time during the early to mid-1960s hade a good variety of dive watches to select from.
