I couldn't resist buying this time only gold UG this weekend. It seems to be from the 30's or 40's. Can anybody tell me anything about it. It is about 35mm in diameter and about 42mm from lug tip to tip.

Cleaning dials never really works out. I think the dial is what it is.

Just get it if you like it...

For me, Dial is the most important part from a watch 😀

it'is not said that I don't like aging dial, I love tropical dial the most, here my Tropical Dial UG

Lovely John. Those are the fattest teardrop lugs I've ever seen, and the dial markers remind me of ones used by Vacheron. Uniquely engaging piece, and a great example of UG's penchant for eccentric cases!👍

I thought about this one, but it was just a bit too "eccentric" for me, glad John bought it.👍

Great to have met you up in the Twins Steve. I had a heck of a time and bought 3 nice pieces.

For Aga79 who wants watches to look beautiful...

Disclaimer: this photograph may in no way represents what the watch depicted may actually look like through your eyes were you to actually see it in person in what ever lighting situation might be operating at the time.
