·I want to share my Omega service experience. My Dynamic III (5240.50) stopped working a few month ago. I contacted a reputable North West watchmaker and was quoted $950 for a full service plus parts. Since Omega quoted me $900 for full service, I went with Omega. Below is the timeline:
6/20/25: dropped off at Secaucus center
6/23/25: received estimate ($600 (not $900) for a complete maintenance service + tax+$25 return shipping). Estimated date of completion: 08/29/2025
7/04/25: parts received
8/28/25: service completed
9/02/25: returned to me. Shipped by UPS, signature required and cannot be held at UPS center.
Thoughts: Watch has been pressure tested. Most of the light scratches were polished to like new condition. Old seal, pushers and spring bars were turned. I am not sure what exactly has been done with the modular movement. For $650, I am happy with the service.
