Thanks, but this has very different aesthetic. Racing chronograph should exhibit racing flag thematic and rather cleaner design.

Here's one of my Heuer's...





Measures down to 1/100th of a second, was the 100th year anniversary for the Mikrograph, limited to 100 pieces. You have to have this thing next to your ear to really appreciate that big swinging chrono hand sweeping around the dial at 1 revolution per second!

The box is pretty awesome, as well (weighs 7 pounds, made from wood and metal!)! It features the desk mount and also the dash mounting plate to be mounted in your care for timing rallies, etc. The head is modular (removeable) and mounts to the strap, etc.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm surprised this unique blue racing speedmaster passed by without much comment! @The Master of Speed would you be able to tell us a bit more about the background of this watch? Was it some kind of test dial for Omega, or an aftermarket custom redial? Does it date back to premoon models?

This does not match the description or the patterns above but for me this is the ultimate exotic dial.
I only wish some micro brand could make something equally colorful and beautiful at a price I could afford. Photo credit Matthew Bain.

There is a reason why there are so few photos of exotic (racing) dials …it’s because there are very few!

One is a sheep in wolfs clothing, and the other is a super rare beast … but both fit the subject of this thread.

Reference:145.006 and 145.016 from the late 1960s.
I've borrowed the photo from this reference's research topic.
This is a scarce model. And it costs a small fortune.

Wow - those are spectacular - dibs on the teal blue one on the lower left 👍

As Risto said : newly released. Available only for a 72h window on an order basis (thereafter no more made) and costing about 400euro. 36mm (12mm thick) so should look fabulous on your wrist, if you can stomache a mecaquartz movement…

Oh wow, how unbelievably tempting- but is the dial really gray? It looked blue to me.
