Don't know what's up but for weeks I can't click on an OFebay link without getting "searched everywhere, not found".
What's up? Did I do something (U.S. member)?

I have had the same issue. When I click an OF ebay link, my app opens up and I get “item taken down or expired” error message. On my iPhone, when I long press the link and “open in background” the listing opens up how it should. Don’t know why this started happening, but you aren’t alone. I’m a US member as well.

Same here and I’m in the US. Just tried the long link and open in background on my iPad. No bueno.

Worst case, just copy and paste the item ID from the URL and search it on eBay, it’ll show up.

same here and in addition, ebay search algorithm leaves much to be desired.

Using simple key words on ebay like 'vintage watch magazines' returns nada but on google, various ebay listings would pop up. Even tried search algo functions to no avail

eBay links never worked for me neither on Chrome nor Firefox

Indeed, that's the workaround

OF eBay?
When someone posts an eBay link here and you click it, the link fails. Been having the same issue myself.

If someone posts a ebay.com link I will be re-directed to a ebay.nl link. And that causes a lot of trouble. If the item is US only it will not show for instance.

Yea we might remove that and see if that helps things, we had it set up like that historically because it was easier for some people (like me in Australia) to see prices in local currency but I never have issues with the .au site

Another point @dsio made was using a VPN may also cause this and I surf on my phone and VPN sometimes auto defaults- so check that you don’t have it enabled perhaps
