Yes it's gold-filled with a steel back. Yes, there is no movement shot. But the dial is clean, original and the movement is worth more than the asking price as a parts movement. Case is sharp. D&A is one of the known makers for LeCoultre. Seems to be a nice piece from the mid-1950's, which was the heyday of LeCoultre in this country.
A perfect "starter" JLC. Take a shot, make an offer. Seller seems to be reasonable.
I don't think this one will last much longer. Hope someone here winds up with it.
