Nope not at all. Just a rare bilateral dimorphic specimen. Happens all the time in Nature. Some insects, crustaceans, and even some birds are even split this way sexually, which is called a bilateral Gynandromorph. The lobster in question may be a gynandromorph.

I'm nominating this for best nonwatch thread of 2012. And I'm throwing this beastie in. The color is homogeneous, but for us northern hemisphere types, I think it measures up.
